RUDY'S LIMOS - A CASE IN
POINT... A RANDOM ACT OF
KINDNESS

I'd like to tell you about
something that happened to
me, totally out of the blue
(as my dad would have said).
With all of the traveling
that I do, I learned to have
transportation ready and
waiting for me when I arrive
at my destination. This is
especially true for me when
I'm on a tight schedule as
is the case for this
upcoming trip. Michaele and
I are taking a cruise in the
fall. So, I decided to
enlist a limousine service
to pick us up at the Ft.
Lauderdale airport and
deliver us to the cruise
port.
I used Limos.com to search
for the best price in the
area. (If you've not used
their service before, I
recommend it. They promote
only known, quality assured,
limousine services. You fill
in the online form for
destination and times, then
the limo services answer you
back via email their pricing
and vehicles they have
available.) So, I filled out
the form with dates, times,
and the destination.
Immediately, I started
getting back emails from
various limo services all
with what they provide and
the price.
Here's where my story
begins. I received this
email from Rudy's Limos in
Ft. Lauderdale:
Thank you for your inquiry
thru Limos.com. The fee is
$60.00 and includes the
gratuity to the driver. The
ride from the airport to
Port Everglades is all of 5
minutes. You can obtain a
taxi as you walk out of
baggage claim and I could
bet that it would cost no
more than $15.00 if that
much. I hate to rob myself
of money, but I can't see
you spending $60.00 for a 5
minute ride when you can
spend it on your vacation.

I could not believe my eyes.
Here was a limousine service
potentially turn away a
sale; in this economy! Could
it be that they actually
care about people, even
customers that aren't
customers yet? Could it be
that they are a morale,
customer focused, business?
Should you have confidence
in them and their service? I
think yes, to all.
Incredible. Unbelievable.
Outstanding. A random act of
kindness.
A case in point: there are
the rare companies with
employees out there, which
provide exceptional customer
service, even to persons not
